What was your wedding theme?
We were going for a chic and modern design highlighted by cultural elements all encapsulated within the natural setting offered by Willowdale.
What was the best moment(s) you had at your wedding?
Hansol: Favorite moment was when our vows were exchanged. It felt like that was the act that officially linked our marriage and everything that happened before and afterwards was to reinforce that moment. Jamie: Favorite moment was walking out at the start of the ceremony and seeing all our friends and family. But there was one person at the end of the aisle who especially caught my eye.
What did you like about Willowdale as your wedding venue?
We loved how it was such a fairy-tale environment. The natural beauty of Willowdale's landscaping and the elegance of its estate was a rare combination to find not too far away from Boston city.
What was the most challenging thing(s) about planning your wedding?
COVID definitely played a large role in making the planning difficult. Vendors were booked far out in advance because of weddings delayed prior to ours. Travel for certain friends and family was restrictive. Last-minute guest list changes threw certain decor and design ideas off.

Venue > Photographer > DJ > Florals > Makeup Artist > Wedding Cake
Can you write a short sentence to describe your experience working with Yi?
It was such an amazing experience working with a very professional and patient photographer who had the ability to meld our vision with his unique artistry to capture our beautiful moments.
What is one important piece of advice you can give for couples who're planning their wedding?
It's never ever too early to start planning. You don't know when or what obstacles might be thrown at you, so having a buffer to deal with mishaps is very help
